Dear Readers,
Welcome to August. It’s hard to believe that we’re already coming to the final months of summer. A lot of time has passed, and many things have changed in my life. For one, I had to decide if I wanted to keep writing or finally put an end to that part of my life. I’ve decided I’d like to write again, but I haven’t had much luck adjusting to my new life and keeping up a regular writing schedule. Not only did our family suffer a loss in late 2013, many other stresses associated with life have kept my attention elsewhere. My ability to focus on my books just vanished. They are waiting to be written. I just need to get my groove back.
So what am I doing to get things moving? Well, I am having a new office built and hope to have it completed in late August or September. This is really just an expansion of my old office, which I had to move out of last September when I moved to a new house. Unfortunately thew new place isn’t the best environment to write in, so I am going to make a return to an office outside the family living environment. That should lessen the distractions that go with having people around when I’m trying to get into the zone to write.
What else? Well, there will soon be a cover for Eternity Revealed, the 6th and final book in the “Keepers of Eternity” series. Yes, I am aware that number 4 is late. Yes, I plan to try and get it finished this year. And so many others, too. My que of books to write is long, and growing longer by the way. Hopefully by 2015, I will be back on an even release keel of 2-3 books a year. This will, I hope begin the next–and best–phase of my career.
So hang tight. I’m working on things behind the scenes. Hopefully, it will all come together soon!
