~Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I write for a newspaper, magazine, review site, etc… How do I request a review copy of your book(s)?
A: For NAL: Media inquiries and requests for review copies that are title-, author-, or imprint-specific should be submitted to the following e-mail address: BerkleyNALpublicity@us.penguingroup.com
To expedite requests for review copies, include the book’s title, author, and publication month, and the name of the publication or station for which you are working. You may include additional book information, such as the imprint and ISBN, as well as links to or copies of your work and/or information about what types of books you cover, so that we may refresh our database. Your request will be reviewed in a timely manner; please keep in mind that we cannot fulfill all requests, particularly for older titles.
For Kensington Books: Fax a request to the Kensington publicity department on your company letterhead at (212) 935-0699.
Q: So I am a writer and I’d like you to take a look at my book. Think you could?
A: No! For legal reasons, I absolutely can’t look at your work!
Q: So how about recommending your agent?
A: My agent is Roberta Brown, of the Brown Literary Agency. You are welcome to look her up at www.brownliteraryagency.com
Q: Devyn Quinn appeared out of nowhere, but I know you published under other pen names before your debut with NY publishers. What were your previous pseudonyms, and why did you change them?
A: I started out publishing paranormal romance under the name of Caitlyn McKenna, and my first releases were Echoes of Angels (later re-released as The Keeper of Eternity) and Descent of Demons (later re-released as The Price of Eternity). When I began writing erotic romance, I wrote under the name of Jeya Jenson for several epublishers/small presses. Later, I was offered a contract by a NY publishing house, and neither name was acceptable to the editor. After batting some names around, I became Devyn Quinn. Several of my Jeya Jenson titles also made the jump to print, such as Flesh and the Devil (Kensington Aphrodisia), Before Night Falls (now published as Sins of the Flesh, Kensington Aphrodisia) and Sins of Flesh (now published as Sins of the Night, Kensington Aphrodisia).
At this time I write solely under the name of Devyn Quinn and will continue to do so in future times.
Q: About those “Eternity” books… Are they going to make a comeback and will you ever finish the series?
A: Yes!! I’m working on reissuing books 1 and 2 under their original titles, and book 3 is in the works for a late 2012 release! Books 4 and 5 are also in the planning stages. By the way, I do not recommend readers purchase the old print editons of my books (The Keeper of Eternity and The Price of Eternity) that still linger on online bookstores and Ebay. I absolutely plan to re-release the books under their original titles, as definitive author’s editions, with previously edited text fully restored.
